Downtown Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is best known as the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers. But it’s more than that. Our mission was to illustrate the venue’s diversity through a compelling video that tells the whole story — exploring the events and amenities that make RMFH a true destination.
A Story to Tell
Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse hosts more than 200 events annually, totaling some 2 million visitors. In addition to hosting games for the Cleveland Cavaliers and AHL Cleveland Monsters, the venue hosts other sporting events as well as concerts, comedian performances, family events and more. The venue also offers a plethora of in-house dining options. Our goal was to tell the whole story: Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is a premier destination for fun, food and excitement.
Selling the Experience
A trip to RMFH is not just an event — it’s an experience. Our mission was to promote the venue as a destination for live event enthusiasts. The tagline “Where Cleveland Turns Up” was a clear starting point.
After meeting with the client to determine needs, our editors and art directors started with a shotlist. That list was put into action during an event that captured the buzz and excitement of RMFH. The footage and added effects, including music that reflected the vibe, was thoughtfully edited to create 30-second, 15-second and 6-second videos for varying platforms.
The Results
The videos hit their mark. With an emphasis on raising awareness for the MAC March Madness Championship at RMFH, we executed a seven-day distribution campaign, which resulted in a successful click-through rate, with basketball and event-seeker targets representing the highest impressions and clicks.
